Emanuele Brugnoli is a senior researcher at CREF and works to characterize the dynamics of information and opinion.
He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science for the treatment of knowledge from the University of Perugia (2016).
From 2016 to 2018, he was a researcher at the University of Palermo, working on the design of data techniques in distributed systems through discrete signal processing on graphs.
From 2018 to 2020, he was a researcher at the Institute for Complex Systems (ISC-CNR) for the AMOFI project: Analysis and modeling of information flow in social networks.
From 2020 to 2022, he held the data scientist position at the Italian Communications Authority (AGCOM).
His main areas of interest are complex networks, computational social sciences, and general interdisciplinary research requiring analyzing and modeling large amounts of data.
