Aurelio Patelli

Aurelio Patelli is a researcher at the Enrico Fermi Research Center, where he works on Economic Complexity, applying methods derived from statistical physics and complexity theory.

A theoretical physicist by training, Aurelio has worked both on the characterization and analysis of data such as patents, scientific documents, and export flows, and on modeling and theoretical aspects of Economic Complexity.

During his work experience, he also worked in Paris as a researcher at the Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et énergies alternatives and participated in international collaborations.
